We are seeking Cyber Security Analyst to join a high-performing Federal Government Department. The successful Cyber Security Analyst will join a high-performing security operations team, supporting monitoring, incident response, security tooling, and the ongoing uplift of enterprise micro-segmentation capability. The successful Cyber Security Analyst will secure an initial 12-month contract with the view to be extended for one year and receive a rewarding hourly rate . The Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for but not limited to; • Supporting the operation and uplift of micro-segmentation capability • Contributing to workload onboarding, traffic flow analysis, and application dependency mapping • Monitoring networks, systems & endpoints to identify threats & anomalous behaviour • Triage and investigation of cyber security alerts, telemetry, and indicators of compromise • Supporting incident response activities, including investigation, escalation and coordination The Cyber Security Analyst will have experience in the following: • Demonstrated experience working in a Cyber Security Operations function • Experience across incident detection, triage, response and continuous monitoring • Practical knowledge of micro-segmentation concepts, including workload profiling • Experience supporting SIEM, EDR, NDR, vulnerability management or network security tools This is an exciting opportunity for Cyber Security Analyst looking to join an innovative Federal Agency .
