• High-profile Federal Government intelligence program • Initial 12 month contract + 2 year extension options • Rewarding hourly rates $$ supporting critical national capabilities We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join a major Federal Government program supporting critical data and analytics capabilities. The successful Data Engineer will design, build and maintain complex data solutions, enabling the efficient storage, integration and analysis of large datasets across secure enterprise environments. You will be offered an initial 12 month contract with the view to extend for a further 2 years and receive a rewarding hourly rate. The successful Data Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to: • Designing, developing and maintaining complex data engineering solutions and pipelines • Building and optimising data stores, analytical environments and integration capabilities • Supporting data interoperability, storage, analysis and transmission improvements • Conducting data quality assessments, diagnostics and remediation activities • Contributing to data governance, metadata frameworks and engineering best practices The successful Data Engineer will have: • Strong experience designing and maintaining enterprise data pipelines and ETL solutions • Experience with data modelling, database design and data architecture principles • Proven ability to integrate and transform data from multiple sources • Experience performing data quality analysis, reporting and optimisation activities • Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills This is a great opportunity to work on nationally significant data initiatives and join a highly skilled Federal Government team!
