Chandler Macleod is seeking a skilled and motivated Power BI & Data Reporting Officer to join a Federal Government team based in Canberra (Fairbairn) on a 12-month contract. This role sits within a dynamic section responsible for driving business improvement, data-driven decision making, and innovative solutions across a complex regulatory environment. You will play a key role in supporting reporting capabilities, enhancing data quality, and enabling stakeholders to make informed operational decisions. Key Responsibilities • Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of reporting solutions using Power BI . • Contribute to ongoing improvements in the collection, management, and quality of operational data. • Provide training, guidance, and support to internal stakeholders on reporting tools and data processes. • Assist with data analysis and reporting activities to support business objectives and performance monitoring. • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process and reporting improvements. About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: • Experience and understanding of data modelling within Power BI . • Previous experience working with data, reporting, or business intelligence solutions. • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • The ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders and translate business requirements into reporting solutions. • A proactive approach to continuous improvement and innovation.
