DevOps Engineer

About this role

• 3 days WFH | Parkes ACT • 12+12+12 month Federal Government Contract • Maintain CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps Our client, a key government agency dedicated to climate change, energy, environment, and water management, require the services of a Senior DevOps Engineer. Duties of the Senior DevOps Engineer: • Develop, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to enable efficient and reliable software delivery; • Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health, performance, and timely issue detection; • Work closely with development, Quality Assurance, and operations teams to support seamless integration, deployment, and delivery of software solutions. Skills required: • Demonstrated experience in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline implementation, containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS); • Strong proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python) and ability to design and implement automation to improve efficiency; • Experience in monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and maintaining high availability and performance of production systems.
