DevOps Engineers - Azure, IaS

• Contribute to a high-profile Federal Government program! • Initial contract until 30 June 2027 + 1 x 12-month extension options! • Canberra Location Onsite! We are seeking DevOps Engineer to join a high-performing Federal Government Department. The successful DevOps Engineer will play a key role in designing, implementing and maintaining secure, automated build, release and infrastructure deployment pipelines within a secure cloud environment. The successful DevOps Engineer will secure an initial contract until June 2027 with 1x12 month extension options, based in Canberra, ACT. The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to: • Designing, implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines • Developing and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to configure cloud environments • Embedding DevSecOps practices and integrating security controls into delivery pipelines • Implementing environment configuration management and release management processes • Collaborating with cloud platform , security and network teams The DevOps Engineer will have experience in the following: • Prior experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in secure cloud environments • Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure as Code and automated infrastructure provisioning • Experience embedding DevSecOps practices and security controls into delivery pipelines • Knowledge of configuration management, version control and release management practices • Experience supporting cloud migration and platform modernisation initiatives This is an exciting opportunity for a DevOps Engineer looking to join an innovative Federal Agency .
