• Exciting opportunity within a high-profile Federal Government Agency • 12-month contract with 12-month extension option!! • Rewarding hourly rates $$ One of Australia's leading Federal Government agencies is looking to engage an experienced Director Intelligence to lead strategic and operational intelligence functions supporting fraud prevention, compliance, integrity and risk management activities. The successful candidate will be offered a 12-month contract with lucrative hourly rates and a 12-month extension option. The successful Director Intelligence will be responsible for, but not limited to: • Providing strategic, operational and people leadership across intelligence functions and activities. • Leading the production of high-quality intelligence products to support decision-making, fraud detection and non-compliance activities. • Influencing and developing intelligence strategies, policies, priorities and operational practices. • Liaising with senior executives, external agencies and law enforcement partners while producing briefings, reports and intelligence products. The successful Director Intelligence will have experience in the following: • Demonstrated experience leading an intelligence function within a complex operational, regulatory, law enforcement, integrity or national security environment. • Strong strategic intelligence capability, including threat identification, risk assessment and intelligence prioritisation. • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including experience working with senior executives, regulatory agencies and law enforcement partners. • A strong understanding of intelligence governance, information handling, privacy, security and legislative obligations.
