The Role The responsibilities of each position vary, but as an EL1 Communications Manager you will be required to: • Develop and implement communications and engagement strategies • Support policy and program areas by providing strategic advice and developing promotional communications collateral to drive awareness around departmental initiatives • Engage and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders • Develop newsletters, articles, and content for internet/intranet and social media platforms • Lead a small team The Ideal Person To be considered for an EL1 Communications Manager opportunity you’ll have experience at this level, within the APS or state government, with a qualification in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or Marketing . You will have the ability to work in time sensitive environments and build productive and collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and be flexible in responding to changing priorities. Australian citizenship and a minimum baseline security clearance are required to apply.
