This role drives best practice asset management for water and wastewater infrastructure through the development of strategic frameworks, business processes and supporting systems. It ensures sustainable asset performance by identifying renewal priorities and delivering capital works programs aligned with organisational goals and asset management requirements. About the role: • Lead the strategic management and renewal of essential water and wastewater assets. • Develop innovative asset management plans, systems and strategies that support long-term service delivery. • Drive risk-based infrastructure investment and renewal programs to maximise asset performance. • Utilise asset data, condition assessments and reporting to inform business and financial decisions. • Influence continuous improvement through performance monitoring, benchmarking and industry best practice. We are seeking: • Degree-qualified Engineer with substantial experience in asset management for water, wastewater or other utility infrastructure. • Proven expertise in developing and implementing asset management strategies, policies, systems and business processes. • Strong knowledge of asset management and computerised maintenance management systems, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. • Skilled in preparing risk-based renewal plans, project briefs and budget estimates to support long-term infrastructure outcomes. • Preparation of high-quality reports and engage effectively with stakeholders.
