We are seeking Senior Enterprise Architect to join a high-performing Federal Government Department. The successful Enterprise Architect will provide senior, hands-on architecture support across digital products, platforms and enabling technologies, ensuring technology decisions are practical, well-reasoned and aligned to business priorities, enterprise direction and delivery timelines. The successful Enterprise Architect will secure an initial 7.5-month contract with the view to be extended for 1 year and receive a rewarding hourly rate . The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for but not limited to; • Providing clear architectural advice across platforms, data, integration, cloud & infrastructure • Assessing solution options & designs to identify risks, dependencies & cross-system impacts • Working closely with delivery teams, solution architects, vendors and senior stakeholders • Developing architecture artefacts including current state, target state, patterns and standards • Supporting enterprise architecture governance, assurance and defensible decision-making The Enterprise Architect will have experience in the following: • Senior-level Enterprise Architecture experience within complex organisations • Ability to translate business requirements into clear, practical technical solutions • Experience providing advice across integration, data, cloud, and infrastructure domains • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture concepts and business/technical capability • Experience working within APS procurement processes , including Digital Marketplace or similar This is an exciting opportunity for Enterprise Architect looking to join an innovative Federal Agency .
