About the role - ICT T echnical Specialist Developing and documenting strategies for the replacement/upgrade of End of Life and End of Support hardware and software including discovery, analysis, recommendation, and migration. Duties - ICT T echnical Specialist • Developing and documenting strategies to remediate key infrastructure risks. • Providing technical assurance over vendor-led solution designs and implementations, ensuring outcomes align with departmental standards, architecture principles, security requirements, and project objectives. • Ensuring that strategies and recommendations align with cloud/on-prem models. Skills / Experience - ICT T echnical Specialist • Cloud & Hybrid Infrastructure – Expertise in Azure cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), hybrid cloud architectures, cloud migration, and infrastructure modernisation. • Server & Platform Technologies – Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux/Unix server environments, operating system lifecycle management, platform remediation, and infrastructure supportability. • Core Enterprise Services – Experience with Active Directory, PKI, DNS, NTP, Microsoft Exchange.
