Infrastructure Engineer - Mobility

About this role

In this position, you will take full ownership of the Android mobile platform, ensuring it is reliable, scalable, and secure. You will collaborate with teams to optimise device configurations, manage enterprise Android devices at scale, and support rugged devices used in retail or warehouse environments. Your role will involve both configuration work and physical device testing to ensure operational excellence and device performance. Leveraging your experience with enterprise mobility management platforms like Omnissa, Workspace ONE, or AirWatch, you will streamline device management processes and enhance security and compliance. This opportunity is particularly suited for professionals with a strong background in enterprise mobility and device management, especially those familiar with rugged devices and complex environments. Priority Requirements • Experience with Omnissa, Workspace ONE, or AirWatch platforms • Solid background in enterprise Android device management • Experience working within enterprise mobility management (MDM) environments • Hands-on experience with rugged devices in retail or warehouse settings • Ability to perform both device configuration and physical device testing Additional Skills and Knowledge • Strong understanding of enterprise mobility and MDM best practices • Experience supporting device security and compliance standards • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues effectively • Familiarity with mobile device testing and configuration methodologies • Ability to work collaboratively across technical teams to optimise workflows and device performance Preferred Education and Experience • Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline • Prior hands-on experience managing enterprise mobile solutions in retail or warehouse environments Other Requirements • Willingness to support both configuration tasks and physical device testing • Strong problem-solving and organisational skills • Availability to respond to operational needs, including occasional travel or onsite support Take this chance to leverage your expertise in enterprise mobile device management and make a significant impact in a innovative retail environment.
