• • Prominent Federal Government Department • • Initial 12 month contract + 2 year extension options • • Rewarding hourly rates $$ within a high-performing cyber security team We are seeking an experienced Lead Cyber Analyst to join a fast-paced Federal Government cyber security team. The successful Lead Cyber Analyst will conduct security risk assessments across complex ICT environments, contribute to critical security documentation and provide expert guidance on cyber security risks, controls and compliance requirements. You will be offered an initial 12 month contract with the view to extend for a further 2 years and receive a rewarding hourly rate. The successful Lead Cyber Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to: • Conducting security risk assessments across Azure, legacy and complex ICT environments • Developing and reviewing security documentation including SSPs and related artefacts • Providing guidance on PSPF, ISM and Essential Eight security requirements • Engaging technical and business stakeholders to identify and mitigate cyber security risks • Presenting risk assessments, recommendations and security findings to senior stakeholders The successful Lead Cyber Analyst will have: • 3-5 years\' experience conducting cyber security risk assessments within Government environments • Experience assessing Azure Cloud, AI technologies, legacy systems and complex ICT environments • Strong knowledge of PSPF, ISM and Essential Eight frameworks • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences • Strong understanding of networking infrastructure, with Azure DevOps experience highly regarded This is a great opportunity to work with a leading Federal Government Department and join a highly regarded cyber security team!
