Lead Cyber Security Architect - PSPF, ISM, Essential Eight

We are seeking Lead Cyber Security Architect to join a high-performing Federal Government Department. The successful Cyber Security Architect will provide strategic cyber security architecture expertise across a complex and evolving digital ecosystem. The successful Cyber Security Architect will secure an initial contract until 30 June 2027 with the view to be extended for one year and receive a rewarding hourly rate . The Cyber Security Architect will be responsible for but not limited to; • Developing and maintaining cyber security architectures across enterprise platforms and services • Reviewing architecture and design artefacts for compliance with PSPF , ISM , & Essential Eight • Providing expert cyber security guidance to architects, solution designers, & project teams • Identifying security risks, gaps and deficiencies across complex ICT environments • Contributing to cyber security policies, standards, frameworks and governance activities The Cyber Security Architect will have experience in the following: • Proven experience as a Cyber Security Architect within large and complex ICT environments • Strong knowledge of cyber security frameworks including PSPF , ISM and Essential Eight • Experience supporting system authorisation, assurance activities and IRAP assessments • Ability to design and assess security controls across cloud, hybrid and on-premises environments • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and advisory skills This is an exciting opportunity for Cyber Security Architect looking to join an innovative Federal Agency .
