• Monitor security systems and respond to security incidents • PSPF, ISM, Essential 8 • Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR, Splunk Our client, a Federal Government Department focused on financial securities laws is seeking the services of a Lead Cyber Security Operations Analyst . Key Duties and Responsibilities • Performe root cause analysis and, corrective actions or implement additional security controls; • Monitor vendor security notifications, assess potential impacts and engage internal teams to undertake remediation activities; • Ensure the accuracy and currency of cyber security incident response procedures and playbooks; • Work across Technology Services to design, document, implement, and manage cyber security solutions. Skills and Experience Required • Proven experience conducting technical security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities; • Ability to build and maintain automated response and enrichment capability, including SOAR playbooks and detection-support pipelines; • Information Risk Management: Level 6 (CIISEC).
