Lead Data Analyst - Tableau / SQL / Business Objects

We are seeking Lead Data Analyst to join a high-performing Federal Government Department. The successful Lead Data Analyst will play a key role in delivering trusted data insights, business intelligence reporting products and data visualisation solutions across complex government programs. The successful Lead Data Analyst will secure an contract until 30 June 2028 with the view to be extended for 1 year and receive a rewarding hourly rate . The Lead Data Analyst will be responsible for but not limited to; • Performing data extraction, manipulation and analysis activities • Developing visualisations, dashboards, charts and reports using Tableau and/or Business Objects • Engaging key stakeholders to support data product changes, enhancements and integrity • Analysing complex datasets to identify trends, correlations, patterns and insights • Developing and maintaining BI product wireframes and technical specifications The Lead Data Analyst will have experience in the following: • Experience working with SQL and relational databases such as SQL Server or Oracle • Strong experience with data visualisation tools; Tableau , Business Objects and/or Power BI • Experience with ETL tools and data extraction/transformation activities • Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Prior knowledge with Python or R , cloud data platforms such as AWS or Azure , and advanced Excel This is an exciting opportunity for Lead Data Analyst looking to join an innovative Federal Agency .
