• Exciting opportunity within a leading Federal Government Agency • 12-month contract with possible extensions!! • Rewarding hourly rates $$ One of Australia’s leading Federal Government agencies is seeking an experienced Lead Interaction Designer to support the design, development and optimisation of digital services and web platforms. The successful candidate will be offered a 12-month contract with extensions up to 24 months with lucrative hourly rates, open to all states of Australia with flexible working arrangement. The successful Lead Interaction Designer will be responsible for, but not limited to: • Leading interaction and visual design for complex digital services and platforms. • Designing user flows, interaction patterns and intuitive user interfaces. • Developing high-fidelity prototypes and reusable design components. • Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver user-centred and accessible solutions. The successful Lead Interaction Designer will have experience in the following: • Strong experience in user-centred design (UCD) and interaction design methodologies. • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite for UX/UI design and prototyping. • Experience designing accessible interfaces aligned with WCAG standards. • Understanding of information architecture and digital service delivery environments. This rare and long term ( up to 3 year contract ) Lead Interaction Designer role offers a diverse work environment and attractive contracting rates .
