• High-profile Federal Government cyber security program • Initial 12 month contract + 2 year extension options • Rewarding hourly rates $$ supporting critical national security capabilities We are seeking an experienced Lead Security Architect to join a major Federal Government program delivering secure and resilient ICT capabilities. The successful Lead Security Architect will provide expert security architecture advice across complex environments, ensuring solutions align with security best practices, enterprise architecture standards and operational requirements. You will be offered an initial 12 month contract with the view to extend for a further 2 years and receive a rewarding hourly rate. The successful Lead Security Architect will be responsible for, but not limited to: • Developing current, transitional and target state security architectures • Defining and validating security requirements across new and existing capabilities • Conducting security risk assessments, threat analysis and capability gap assessments • Providing security architecture guidance for solution design, implementation and change activities • Contributing to architecture forums and stakeholder governance processes The successful Lead Security Architect will have: • Demonstrated experience developing security architectures across complex ICT environments • Strong knowledge of information assurance, information security and security governance frameworks • Experience providing security advice to technical teams, projects and senior stakeholders • Proven network and solution architecture experience across enterprise environments • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Cyber Security or a related discipline This is a great opportunity to work on a critical Federal Government cyber security program and join a highly skilled architecture team!
