Multiple Senior Storage Engineer - ICT Infrastructure

• Prominent Federal Government Department • Initial 12 month contract + 2 year extension options • Rewarding hourly rates $$ working within a large-scale infrastructure environment We are seeking multiple Senior Storage Infrastructure Engineers to join a Federal Government ICT Operations team supporting critical infrastructure platforms. The successful Senior Storage Infrastructure Engineers will be responsible for the design, deployment, administration and optimisation of enterprise storage environments while contributing to the future direction of the department's storage and data platforms. You will be offered an initial 12 month contract with the view to extend for a further 2 years and receive a rewarding hourly rate. The successful Senior Storage Infrastructure Engineers will be responsible for, but not limited to: • Deploying, configuring and managing enterprise storage and SAN environments • Monitoring, tuning and troubleshooting storage infrastructure to ensure performance and availability • Producing design, build and operational documentation for infrastructure platforms • Supporting backup, recovery and data protection capabilities across the environment • Providing technical leadership, knowledge sharing and mentoring to team members The successful Senior Storage Infrastructure Engineers will have: • Strong experience with enterprise storage technologies such as HPE 3PAR, Primera, Alletra or NetApp E-Series • Experience managing SAN environments including Brocade Fabric Switches and SANnav • Knowledge of Dell Data Domain, Scality Artesca or similar storage platforms • Experience with Veeam Backup and Replication technologies • Excellent communication skills with the ability to produce technical documentation and mentor team members This is a great opportunity to work with a leading Federal Government Department and join a highly skilled infrastructure team supporting enterprise-scale storage platforms.
