• Exciting opportunity within a leading Federal Government Agency • Collaborative workplace culture • Rewarding hourly rates $ One of Australia’s leading Federal Government agencies is looking to engage highly skilled and experienced Senior AWS Cloud Engineers to support critical cloud transformation projects within the a mission critical program for an intelligence organisation. The successful candidates will be offered a 12-month contract with two 12-month extensions! The successful Senior AWS Cloud Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to: • Designing and implementing secure, scalable AWS cloud architectures. • Leading cloud migration and modernisation projects, including legacy system rationalisation. • Deploying automation and monitoring tools for resilient outcomes. • Promoting cloud best practices and uplifting internal capability. • Identifying opportunities for cost optimisation and service simplification. • Supporting lifecycle management of systems and software within cloud environments. The successful Senior AWS Cloud Engineer will have experience in the following: • 5–10 years’ experience delivering AWS solutions for complex projects. • Strong expertise in AWS services (compute, storage, networking, security). • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation). • Knowledge of cloud security principles, compliance, and governance. • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes). • Excellent organisational and communication skills. Desirable: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering. • Experience managing complex projects.
