• High Profile Federal Government Department • Initial contract to June 2027 + 1 x 12 month extension options • Rewarding hourly rates $$$ A leading Federal Government Department is seeking experienced Senior Business Analysts to support a range of critical ICT projects and digital transformation initiatives. Opportunities are available across strategic, technical and data-focused teams, working on large-scale enterprise programs delivering cloud, data, collaboration and business capability outcomes . The successful candidates will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to drive discovery, requirements definition, stakeholder engagement and solution delivery within complex government environments. Initial contracts are available through to 30 June 2027, with two 12-month extension options. The successful Senior Business Analysts will be responsible for, but not limited to: • Undertaking business analysis activities across complex ICT programs, including discovery, requirements elicitation, process analysis and solution design. • Collaborating with architects, engineers, business stakeholders and leadership teams to define and refine epics, features, user stories and delivery tasks. • Identifying and managing technical, business and data dependencies across multiple project teams and workstreams. • Developing and maintaining high-quality delivery artefacts including process models, personas, user journeys, acceptance criteria, functional requirements and product backlogs. • Acting as the bridge between business and technical teams, translating complex requirements into actionable outcomes and supporting successful delivery and adoption. The successful Senior Business Analysts will have experience in the following: • Demonstrated experience delivering business analysis outcomes for large-scale Federal Government programs and ICT transformation initiatives. • Strong experience with stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and building trusted relationships across executive, business and technical audiences. • Proven ability to capture, document and manage requirements as epics, features and user stories, with experience managing backlogs using Azure DevOps or similar platforms. • Experience producing high-quality business analysis artefacts including process models, business requirements, acceptance criteria and user-centred design deliverables. • Experience working within Agile delivery environments and supporting the delivery of cloud, Microsoft 365, data, AI, identity management or enterprise platform initiatives will be highly regarded.
