One of Australia's leading Federal Government agencies is looking to engage experienced Principal Cyber Advisors to provide expert cyber security advice across major ICT projects and critical government systems. The successful Principal Cyber Advisors will be offered an initial 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extension options and rewarding hourly rates. The successful Principal Cyber Advisors will be responsible for, but not limited to: • Providing expert advice on secure-by-design architecture principles and cyber security best practice. • Conducting cyber security risk assessments and reviewing ICT solution designs against ISM and Essential Eight requirements. • Developing and maintaining security documentation, including security plans, risk management plans and incident response plans. • Support architecture and engineering teams to embed cyber security controls into solution designs The successful Principal Cyber Advisors will have experience in the following: • Demonstrated experience in cyber security or security architecture within an Australian Government environment. • Strong experience conducting cyber security risk assessments and developing system security artefacts. • Excellent knowledge of the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM), Essential Eight and accreditation processes. • Strong understanding of networking infrastructure, security architecture and cyber security risk management.
