• Understanding of the Digital Service Standard • Define the Product Vision • 11 + 12 + 12 + 12 month contract Our client, a Federal Government Regulator focused on schemes to measure, manage, reduce and offset carbon emissions in Australia is seeking multiple Product Managers to join their team. Key Duties and Responsibilities • Consult with delivery, service and technology stakeholders to integrate products and services to maximise value for money. The Product Manager will apply best practice methodologies and industry recognised systems to meet defined business outcomes and requirements; • Define the Product Vision for the core platform in a clear manner that will support improved prioritisation and delivery. This will be done in consultation with key technical and business stakeholders across the agency; • Coach Product Owners and their scrum team members to deliver the product roadmap. The Product Manager will coach continuous improvement in product and system enhancements, value-based discussions and efficiency improvements for regulatory and compliance initiatives. This includes supporting the roadmap through the delivery phases, go-live and into handover to service; • Lead Product Owners by communicating product visions, Change Program priorities and clear advice to navigate complex issues, conflicting information or other identified constraints or challenges, navigating competing demands to ensure product management objectives are achieved in context with Change Program objectives with awareness of existing standards and constraints; • Support Product Owners as they conduct their own value-based discussions and guide them as epic and feature work is defined, refined and aligned to CER’s digital strategy, architecture, human-centred design, and business outcomes and requirements; • Manage and update the product roadmap, informed by customer insights and feedback, to create customer centric design, development and delivery with sustainable targets. Skills and Experience Required • 3+ years of experience in a similar role; • Previous experience as a Product Owner; • Relevant qualification in Product Ownership or related Agile/SAFe certifications; • Drive product engagement, including consultation with Change Program stakeholders and related activities, to define current and future product enhancement to meet customer needs and maximise return on investment.
