• Pharmacist – Federal Government Opportunity! • 12-month contract with possible extension! • Rewarding hourly rates $$ One of Australia’s leading Federal Government departments is looking to engage 2 experienced Registered Pharmacists to support the evaluation of prescription medicine applications. The successful Pharmacists will be offered an initial 12-month contract , working full-time from the Canberra office , with the view to extend or transition to permanent. The successful Pharmacists will be responsible for, but not limited to: • Evaluating and finalising minor variation applications for prescription medicines within a regulatory framework. • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues relating to prescription medicine submissions. • Providing legislative and clinical advice as a subject matter expert within the branch. • Contributing to process improvements, strategic planning, administrative tasks and Trade Name team activities. The successful Pharmacists will have experience in the following: • Current registration as a practising Pharmacist with AHPRA . • Strong analytical skills, professional judgement and the ability to make balanced decisions. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong stakeholder engagement ability. • High-level organisational skills, initiative and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.
