About this role

• 12 + 24 month contract – 1 Sep start date • NV1 security clearance - QLD, ACT, VIC, TAS OR SA offices • Ongoing support and technical admin - SAS VEA and SAS Viya Our client, a Federal Government department based in Brisbane CBD, QLD, responsible for the development of service delivery policy and access to social, health and other payments, requires the services of multiple SAS Infrastructure Engineers for 12 + 24 month contracts. Duties of the SAS Infrastructure Engineers: • Provide ongoing support and technical administration for several SAS products including SAS VEA and SAS Viya; • Diagnose and resolve system issues and contribute to the resolution of incidents; • Plan, test, and execute patching activities to ensure compliance with security and regulatory policies and deliver system enhancements; and • Write and review documentation and standard operating procedures. Skills and Experience - SAS Infrastructure Engineers: Technical skills • Infrastructure Operations ITOP - Level 4 • Programming/software development PROG - Level 3 • Systems design DESN - Level 5 • Systems installation and removal HSIN - Level 5 Knowledge / Qualifications • A degree in software engineering, computer science, or a similar field is highly desirable.
