About this role

• Contribute to a high-profile Federal Government program! • Initial 12-month contract + 2 x 12 month extension options! • Multiple locations, QLD, ACT, VIC. NSW & SA! We are seeking Scrum Masters to join a high-performing Federal Government Department. The successful Scrum Master will play a key role in supporting multidisciplinary delivery teams, improving team performance, and driving the effective use of agile ways of working across complex delivery environments. The successful Scrum Masters will secure a 12-month contract with 2 x 12 month extension options, based in QLD, ACT, VIC, NSW or SA. The Scrum Master will be responsible for but not limited to; • Coaching teams in agile values, principles and practices, and fostering a strong agile mindset • Facilitating agile ceremonies • Removing blockers and impediments to ensure teams remain focused on agreed goals and delivery outcomes • Working closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to support backlog refinement • Supporting team cohesion, performance, self-organisation and continuous improvement The Scrum Master will have experience in the following: • Experience as a Scrum Master supporting one or more multidisciplinary teams • Strong knowledge of Agile values, principles and practices and their effective application • Experience with continuous delivery, product delivery lifecycles and team performance improvement • Experience using relevant tools such as Jira and familiarity with Lean and Kanban methodologies • Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, coaching and problem-solving capability This is an exciting opportunity for a Scrum Master looking to join an innovative Federal Agency .
