• Contribute to a Federal Government Agency! • Initial 12 months + 12 month extension • Barton, ACT An innovative Federal Government Agency is looking to engage an experienced Security Asset and Logistics Coordinator to support security equipment, asset management and logistics activities across a global operating environment. The role will work closely with senior stakeholders to support security asset refresh activities, ongoing maintenance, procurement coordination, asset tracking and logistics fulfilment. The Security Asset and Logistics Coordinator will secure an initial 12-month contract with a 12-month extension option , based in Barton, ACT . The Security Asset and Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for but not limited to; • Managing security equipment stocks and assisting with procurements to maintain required stock levels • Maintaining security asset databases to control equipment held overseas and in storage within Australia • Coordinating logistics channels to support asset replacement and fulfilment requirements • Goods receipting security equipment deliveries and preparing items for overseas shipping and delivery • Working with property and facilities teams to support equipment fulfilment and end-of-life asset decommissioning The Security Asset and Logistics Coordinator will have experience in the following: • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team • Positive, solutions-focused and service delivery-oriented attitude • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage tight and competing deadlines • Experience with Commonwealth procurement processes will be highly regarded • Knowledge of overseas mission environments or complex government operating environments will be advantageous This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Security Asset and Logistics Coordinator looking to join a high-performing Federal Government environment.
