Security Officer - CCTV / Patrol

About this role

We are seeking Site Security Observer to join a high-performing Federal Government Department. The successful Site Security Observer will join a high-performing security operations team, and support the delivery of critical construction security activities across secure facilities in Australia and overseas. The successful Site Security Observer will secure an initial 12 month contract with the view to be extended for one year and receive a rewarding hourly rate . The Site Security Observer will be responsible for but not limited to; • Observing personnel movements and construction activities within secure work environments • Monitoring compliance with approved Construction Security Plans and security controls • Inspecting materials, tools and equipment entering site and reporting non-compliance issues • Operating CCTV, alarms, access control systems and other security technologies • Maintaining accurate security logs, records and incident reports The Site Security Observer will have experience in the following: • Experience within security, construction or site-based operational environments • Experience working within disciplined, multi-person teams in controlled environments • Strong observation, reporting and record-keeping skills • Familiarity with Work Health & Safety principles and active construction sites • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement and maintain confidentiality This is an exciting opportunity for Site Security Observer looking to join an innovative Federal Agency .
