Senior Azure and AWS Cloud Engineer

• ACT onsite • 6 + 6 month contract • No security clearance required Our client, a Federal Government Agency responsible for national health information and statistics, require the services of a Senior Azure and AWS Cloud Engineer. Key Duties and Responsibilities • Lead a small team of cloud engineers to design, implement and support AWS and Microsoft Azure infrastructure within an enterprise environment; • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code and automation to support cloud platform delivery; • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with embedded security and compliance controls; • Troubleshoot infrastructure and platform issues and work closely with internal technical teams and business stakeholders; • Produce high quality technical documentation including architecture artefacts, diagrams, procedures and operational guides. Skills and Experience Required • Minimum five years’ experience working in a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer; • Extensive hands-on experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure, including core services across compute, storage, networking and security; • Practical experience developing or supporting CI/CD pipelines; • Demonstrated experience incorporating security and compliance requirements into cloud engineering practices and delivery pipelines; • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
