• 12 + 12 + 12-month contract • Baseline Security Clearance required. • QLD, ACT, NSW or VIC - Hybrid Opportunity • EL1 equivalent | Agile | Data Integration | Azure DevOps Our client, a Federal Government department responsible for leading national policy and programs across climate, energy, environmental sustainability, natural resources, heritage, and water management, is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst. Duties of the Senior Business Analyst • Contribute across all phases of projects; • Define the Product Backlog Items (PBIs) including acceptance criteria and facilitate approval from relevant business stakeholders; • Facilitate workshops and consultation sessions; • Work closely with the project team to ensure DevOps items are being managed to meet timeframes, timely development sprints are achieved and defects are resolved; • Assist the product owners and SMEs with business verification and testing e.g. User Acceptance Testing. Skills and Experience Required • Extensive experience and skills in requirements and analysis for data platforms, data services layers, data integrations, and ideally in multilateral data sharing agreements; • Previous experience producing clear and concise BA artefacts and documentation under time pressure ensuring fitness for purpose and value addition in subsequent stages of the SDLC; • Experience working within federal government; • Strong experience working with requirements for data integration, data services layers, data platforms; • Understanding of the Australian Government’s Digital Service Standard and the principles behind human-centred design.
