• Prominent Federal Government agency • Initial 6 month contract + 6 month extension option • Rewarding hourly rates $$ leading cloud transformation initiatives We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure & AWS Cloud Engineer to join a leading Federal Government agency. The successful Senior Cloud Engineer will lead a small team responsible for designing, building and supporting secure cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS environments. You will play a key role in cloud automation, CI/CD delivery and platform uplift initiatives while working closely with technical teams and business stakeholders. You will be offered an initial 6 month contract with a further 6 month extension option and receive a rewarding hourly rate . The successful Senior Cloud Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to: • Leading the design, implementation and support of Azure and AWS cloud infrastructure • Developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation solutions to improve platform delivery • Building and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices • Troubleshooting cloud platform issues and supporting technical stakeholders • Mentoring team members and driving cloud engineering best practices The successful Senior Cloud Engineer will have: • 5+ years\' experience as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer within complex enterprise environments • Extensive hands-on experience across AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud platforms • Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps and/or GitOps practices • Knowledge of cloud security, compliance and governance requirements • Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement and communication skills This is a great opportunity to work with a leading Federal Government agency and drive critical cloud engineering initiatives across Azure and AWS environments.
