Senior Data Analyst - SQL / Python / Snowflake

• Prominent Federal Government Agency • Initial 12 month contract + 12 month extension option • Rewarding hourly rates $$ with flexible ACT, NSW or VIC locations We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join a leading Federal Government Agency supporting critical data and analytics initiatives. The successful Senior Data Analyst will work within a multidisciplinary team to design, develop and maintain enterprise data products while transforming complex datasets into meaningful business insights. You will be offered an initial 12 month contract with a further 12 month extension option and receive a rewarding hourly rate. The successful Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to: • Designing, building and maintaining enterprise data products and data assets • Performing data wrangling, profiling, quality assessments and data validation activities • Translating business requirements into coded data transformations and analytics solutions • Developing new data attributes, prototypes and reporting capabilities • Presenting technical findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders The successful Senior Data Analyst will have: • Extensive experience analysing complex datasets and developing high-quality analytical solutions • Advanced programming skills across SQL, Python, SAS and/or R • Experience working within Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environments and data pipelines • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and documentation skills • Experience with Snowflake, SAS Viya and Power BI highly regarded This is a great opportunity to work with a leading Federal Government Agency and contribute to large-scale data and analytics initiatives that deliver meaningful outcomes.
