• Exciting opportunity within a leading Federal Government Agency • 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extensions!! • Rewarding hourly rates $$ One of Australia’s leading Federal Government agencies is looking to engage an experienced Senior Front End Designer and Developer to support the delivery of user-centred, accessible and responsive web applications across Microsoft Dynamics 365 based systems. The successful candidate will be offered a 12-month contract with 2x12 month extension options and lucrative hourly rates, based in ACT, QLD, VIC and NSW. The successful Senior Front End Designer and Developer will be responsible for, but not limited to: • Improving usability of web applications by working closely with UX designers, programmers and back-end developers. • Developing prototype designs into usable products and responsive web applications. • Designing, building and maintaining reusable JavaScript, jQuery, HTML and SCSS code. • Supporting the delivery of a Design System to ensure consistent implementation across applications. The successful Senior Front End Designer and Developer will have experience in the following: • At least 2 years’ commercial front-end development experience within Commonwealth Government or a similar large-scale environment. • Strong experience delivering front-end solutions using JavaScript, jQuery, HTML and SCSS . • Demonstrated experience building accessible, usable and responsive web applications in line with WCAG standards . • Experience with Microsoft Power Apps , Figma or backend templating languages such as Liquid, PHP or TWIG will be highly regarded.
