• High profile federal government department • Initial 12 month contract + 2 year extension • Rewarding hourly rates $$/ Hybrid environment A high profile Federal Government department is looking to engage a skilled Senior Front-End Developer to support the ongoing development and enhancement of digital enablement projects. The successful Senior Front-End Developer will secure an initial 12 month contract with the view to be extended for two years and receive a rewarding hourly rate . The successful Senior Front-End Developer will be responsible for, but not limited to: • Planning, developing, maintaining and enhancing system interfaces, components and related processes. • Developing the front-end components of the applications according to business requirements. • Performing software design, coding, review, and testing on systems to deliver technical interface upgrades and/or new features or capabilities • Applying technical knowledge in the development, maintenance and operation of the relevant systems to ensure a streamlined and smooth user experience for stakeholders. The successful Senior Front-End Developer will have experience in the following: • Demonstrated experience in supporting or developing the user facing component of applications and systems, in particular in environments based on Java, JEE frameworks and containerisation (Kubernetes), Oracle, Unix, Windows, HTML5, CSS, Typescript, Javascript, React and API interactions. • Experience working with or leading ICT project teams using waterfall or Agile delivery methodology. • Experience in using Microsoft Office or equivalent for documenting, organising information, delivering presentations and processing data. • Demonstrated experience with core front end languages including modern Java Script, CSS3 and HTML5.
