About this role

• 12 + 12 month contract – Flexible work arrangements • Baseline Security Clearance - Phillip, ACT • Payment non-compliance and fraud intellgence Our client, a Federal Government department based in Phillip, ACT. that offer services to veterans, requires the services of a senior intelligence analyst for a 12 + 12 month contract. Duties of the Senior Intelligence Analyst: • Utilising a recognised Intelligence qualification and/or relevant experience obtained in a government, law enforcement or military intelligence context to support the planning and production of intelligence products, outputs and outcomes. • Leading and coordinating intelligence projects, producing a range of high quality tactical operational and strategic intelligence products informing and impacting decision-making for internal and external stakeholders, targeting payment non-compliance and Fraud against programs. • Liaising with other Agencies, sharing information and intelligence, producing briefing papers including link charts and reports. • Conducting quality assessments on Intelligence Reports prior to referral for treatment. Skills and Experience - Senior Intelligence Analyst: • Experience producing reference and training material to support the Agency in relation to intelligence support and management. • Experience providing managerial oversight relating to mandatory learning and the health and safety of the team. • Experience using analytical and intelligence for daily workload management and reporting purposes. • Experience managing a team, including providing direction, human resources, conflict resolution, coaching, workload and performance management. • Experience supporting the response function of the team including, addressing requests for information, responding to senior leadership and ministerial requests and assessing incoming matters determining the required treatment.
