• Join a Prominent Federal Government Department • Initial 12 month contract + 2 x 12-month extensions! • Rewarding hourly rates $$$ A prominent Federal Government department is seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Officer to undertake Complex Procurements from the start to the end of procurement lifecycle that are compliant with Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013, Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs). The successful Senior Procurement Officer will be offered an initial 12 month contract with the view to be extended for a further 12 months and receive a rewarding hourly rate The successful Senior Procurement Officer will be responsible for, but not limited to: • Plan, manage and deliver end-to-end procurement activities including market research, preparation of documentation, evaluations, negotiations and contract awards. • Present high level of customer service and has proactive approach in providing advice and support to internal clients and stakeholders in relation to procurement and contract management. • Establish and maintain strong business relationships with external stakeholders and suppliers including effectively managing contract enquiries, issues, disputes, variations, risks and undertaking negotiations with suppliers as required. • Monitoring contracts, managing extension or renewal of contracts and contract close-out. The successful Senior Procurement Officer will have experience in the following: • Working knowledge of Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 and Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPR). • Demonstrated experience in undertaking end-to-end complex Government procurement activities in accordance with policies and procedures. • Contract management experience, with knowledge of utilising the Commonwealth Contracting Suites (CCS). • Strong knowledge in administering tender documentation through AusTender.
