• Prominent Federal Government program delivering national security outcomes • Initial 12 month contract + 2 year extension options • Rewarding hourly rates $$ / ACT or VIC locations We are seeking experienced Senior Project Officers to support a Federal Government program delivering complex and high-impact projects. The successful Senior Project Officers will work within a Project/Program Office environment, providing critical support across planning, coordination and delivery activities. You will be offered an initial 12 month contract with the view to extend for a further 2 years while contributing to nationally significant initiatives. The successful Senior Project Officers will be responsible for, but not limited to: • Supporting project and program documentation, coordination and administration • Assisting with project planning, scheduling and reporting activities • Managing stakeholder engagement across internal and external teams • Maintaining project financial records and supporting governance processes • Providing advice on project capability, risks and continuous improvement The successful Senior Project Officers will have: • Minimum 2+ years’ experience as a Project Support Officer or similar role • Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile or SAFe • Strong experience with Microsoft 365 and project tools • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills • Ability to prioritise work and operate effectively in fast-paced environments This is a great opportunity to secure a rewarding Senior Project Officer contract within a high-profile Federal Government program delivering critical outcomes.
