• Long-term contract – 12 month contract + 2 x 12 month extension options • Critical cyber security role supporting high-profile national security outcomes • Attractive hourly rates $$ A Federal Government organisation is seeking 2 x Senior Security Engineer Vulnerability Assessors to join a high-performing cyber security team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the assessment, identification and remediation of vulnerabilities across complex ICT environments while supporting critical security operations. The successful Senior Security Engineer Vulnerability Assessors will be offered an initial 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extension options , working onsite in South Australia. The successful Senior Security Engineer Vulnerability Assessors will be responsible for, but not limited to: • Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and threat analysis across complex ICT environments. • Identify, assess and prioritise security vulnerabilities and provide recommendations to improve security posture. • Perform security risk assessments, business impact analysis and support security incident management activities. • Provide expert advice on security controls, systems design, architecture risks and cyber security best practice. To be successful, the Senior Security Engineer Vulnerability Assessor will demonstrate: • Strong experience conducting penetration testing, vulnerability assessments and security reviews within enterprise environments. • Experience analysing threat intelligence, threat modelling and assessing complex cyber security risks. • Ability to evaluate security controls and provide recommendations to strengthen ICT security architecture. • Excellent analytical, reporting and stakeholder engagement skills, with relevant cyber security certifications highly regarded.
