This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in optimising and governing large-scale SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 environments, with a strong focus on information governance, compliance, storage optimisation, and platform sustainability. The successful Senior SharePoint Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to: • Providing expert advice across SharePoint Online and Microsoft Purview to improve governance, compliance, and platform performance. • Analysing and optimising SharePoint Online storage consumption, identifying growth drivers, risks, and cost-saving opportunities. • Designing and implementing governance frameworks covering lifecycle management, retention, disposal, versioning, and information architecture. • Developing technical standards, operational procedures, and implementation roadmaps to support sustainable platform management. The successful Senior SharePoint Specialist will have experience in the following: • Extensive experience with SharePoint Online administration, governance, information architecture, permissions, libraries, lists, and versioning. • Demonstrated experience optimising SharePoint Online environments at scale and delivering measurable storage efficiencies. • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers on governance, compliance, and optimisation initiatives. • Experience developing and implementing governance models, lifecycle management frameworks, and role-based access controls.
