Job Description Cleared is seeking two experienced Senior Quality Assurance Analysts to support a significant technology program within the Australian Federal Police. This is an outstanding opportunity to work within a mission-critical environment where technology directly supports national security, law enforcement operations and public safety. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability and performance of complex ICT systems through comprehensive testing, defect management and quality assurance activities. Working closely with business analysts, technical teams and external vendors, you will contribute to the successful delivery of enterprise applications and infrastructure solutions while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. Duties and Responsibilities • Create, review and execute manual and automated test cases and test scenarios • Develop and maintain functional and non-functional testing artefacts • Plan, coordinate and execute testing activities across multiple systems and environments • Collaborate with business analysts and technical teams to review requirements and define test conditions • Perform infrastructure, integration, system and user acceptance testing activities • Create, execute and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks • Identify, analyse, document and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle • Coordinate defect resolution and validate fixes prior to production deployment • Conduct security, performance and other non-functional testing activities • Monitor, review and report on testing activities, outcomes, risks and quality metrics • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies and ICT practices • Maintain records and documentation in accordance with government information management requirements • Establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships across technical and business teams • Mentor and guide less experienced team members • Contribute effectively within a small team while supporting broader technology initiatives across the organisation • Maintain contemporary technical knowledge through ongoing professional development Education/Certifications Required • Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline • ISTQB Certification or equivalent testing certification is highly regarded • Additional certifications in quality assurance, test automation or Agile methodologies will be advantageous Knowledge/Skills Required • Extensive experience in test planning, design and execution • Strong understanding of software development and testing lifecycles • Experience with manual and automated testing tools and frameworks • Infrastructure and integration testing expertise • Security, performance and non-functional testing experience • Defect management and quality assurance best practices • Test reporting and quality metrics analysis • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills • Ability to work within complex enterprise ICT environments • Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities Essential criteria • Solution The extent to which the potential supplier's response meets the AFP's requirements as set out in the ATM documents. 34% • Ability to deliver The extent to which the potential supplier demonstrates its capability and capacity to provide the requirements. 33% • Whole of life costs The whole of life costs for the AFP.
