• 12-month contract + 2 x 12-month extension options • Attractive hourly rates on offer • Adelaide-based | Shift work required We are seeking experienced Service Management Officers (Cyber Security / ICT Operations) to join a high-performing Federal Government agency within the Defence portfolio. This exciting opportunity will see you supporting the delivery, operation and continuous improvement of complex ICT and cyber security environments , contributing to systems that protect Australia’s national interests. The Service Management Officers will be responsible for but not limited to; • Supporting the implementation and maintenance of complex ICT environments , including Windows and Linux systems • Monitoring, managing and responding to incidents, problems and service requests in line with IT service management processes • Diagnosing faults, identifying solutions or workarounds, and escalating issues where required • Contributing to the resolution of operational ICT issues in accordance with agreed standards and procedures • Assisting in the development of knowledge articles, documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) The Service Management Officers will have experience in the following: • Experience in ICT service management, cyber security operations or enterprise IT environments • Strong capability in incident management, problem resolution and service delivery (aligned with SFIA/ITIL practices) • Experience administering Windows and/or Linux operating systems • Exposure to infrastructure technologies , including virtualisation, storage or databases • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in complex, high-security environments This is an exciting opportunity for Service Management Officers looking to join an innovative Federal Agency .
