Solution Architect - C4I Systems Cleared Recruitment is partnering with a leading international IT solutions provider to engage an experienced Solution Architect to join their Brisbane-based team. This is a pivotal opportunity to work on cutting-edge Defence C4I solutions , supporting mission-critical capability and innovation across complex environments. The Opportunity As a Solution Architect , you will play a key role in designing and delivering end-to-end technical solutions . Working closely with the Design Authority, you will lead the integration, implementation, and evolution of C4I systems to meet both strategic and operational Defence needs. Key Details • Location: Brisbane (onsite) • Employment Type: Full-time • Security Clearance: NV1 required (or ability to obtain) • Citizenship: Australian Citizenship required Key Responsibilities • Provide expert advice on the design and deployment of C4I systems across Defence environments • Engage with customers to understand business and technical requirements and define fit-for-purpose solutions • Contribute to product evolution, including roadmap input and beta testing • Communicate the impact of system changes and new capabilities to stakeholders • Develop solution designs using visual and architectural modelling techniques • Facilitate technical workshops with customers and internal teams • Lead and guide teams in solving complex technical challenges • Support pre-sales and post-sales activities , including technical proposals and solution estimation • Work collaboratively with Defence stakeholders, engineers, and project teams to deliver outcomes Skills and Experience • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (Masters highly regarded) • Strong knowledge of: • Enterprise, systems, integration, and security architectures • Architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, DODAF, or AUSDAF • Experience with military C4I systems , tactical communications, and ITIL environments • Broad knowledge across IT domains including integration, cloud, UX, and business processes • Proven ability to translate business needs into technical solutions • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills What's on Offer • Competitive remuneration package • Modern office environment • Ongoing training and professional development support • Health insurance allowance • Life and income protection insurance • Employee Assistance Program for staff and families • Additional leave provisions including Defence Reservist leave Security Requirements Applicants must hold or be eligible to obtain and maintain an NV1 Defence security clearance .
