• High Profile Federal Government Department • Initial 12 month contract + 3 x 12 month extension • Rewarding hourly rates $$$ A high-profile Federal Government department is looking to engage an experienced SQL Database Administrator to join an established team. You will be responsible for the maintenance, support and business intelligence capability for the high profile solution. The successful SQL Database Administrator will be offered an initial 12-month contract with the view to extended for a further 3 years and receive a rewarding hourly rate. The successful SQL Database Administrator will be responsible for, but not limited to: • Administration, monitoring, configuration, upgrade and install Microsoft SQL Server databases to support release administration and management • Performance of regular and database backups, and ensure backups will support recovery needs • Maintain the performance and availability of databases that store information • Develop and maintain procedures and documentation for the department’s databases The SQL Database Administrator will have experience in the following: • Demonstrated experience in database administration • Experience with Microsoft SQL server stack including SSIS, SSRS, SSAS. • Experience with REACT desirable. • Experience working with federal government This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking Federal Government agency and make a real impact!
