JOB DETAILS 4 x Permanent, Full-Time 36 hours, 4 days/week $76,034 - $83,067 + Super Rose street JOB DESCRIPTION Liverpool City Council is experiencing significant growth and is seeking a Team Member to join our Maintenance Delivery team. In this role, you will contribute to the construction and maintenance of Council's Infrastructure Assets and help deliver a high level of service to the Liverpool community. Working in crews of two to six people, you will undertake a broad range of concrete construction and maintenance works on Council's infrastructure assets, including excavation, formwork, reinforcement, concrete placement, finishing, and associated civil works. The role also includes truck driving and carrying out other duties as directed by the Coordinator Maintenance Delivery. Experience in operating plant and equipment such as excavators, skid steer loaders, backhoes, and other civil construction machinery will be an advantage for this position. You will be responsible for the safe operation, routine maintenance, and care of plant, vehicles, and equipment used in concrete construction and maintenance activities. All works must be completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard in accordance with Council policies, procedures, specifications, and Work Health and Safety requirements. ABOUT YOU You are a motivated and safety-conscious civil maintenance professional with experience in the construction and maintenance of road, footpath and drainage infrastructure. You enjoy working collaboratively as part of a small team and take pride in delivering high-quality outcomes for the community. To be successful in this role, you will have: • Experience in the construction and maintenance of roads, footpaths and drainage infrastructure. • Demonstrated experience in the operation of excavator, loader grader and skid steer would be an advantage. • As a minimum a HR license is essential with experience in operating and maintaining plant / equipment associated with civil construction, also minimum blue traffic controller's ticket is required. • A strong commitment to workplace health and safety, with the ability to identify hazards and take appropriate action. • Experience operating and maintaining plant and equipment associated with civil construction works. • Demonstrated experience operating excavators, loaders and skid steer machinery (highly regarded). • The ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow directions to achieve operational outcomes. The salary (within the above-mentioned range) will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience, and competencies of the successful applicant.
