Manage urological patients attending outpatients at Blacktown hospital under supervision of urological consultants. This role is ideally suited for individuals who wish to pursue a career in Urology. Additional to excellent clinical exposure, this role provides an outstanding opportunity to join an established research program that caters for aspiring future urology SET trainees • MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. • At least three years' post graduate experience in public hospital service (or equivalent). Evidence of continuing medical education and self-monitoring/audit practices that support credentialing to the position and are commensurate with the scope of practice requirements of the position. • Sound clinical knowledge in Urological surgery demonstrated through successful clinical practice in an environment appropriate to the requirements of the position. • High level interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated ability working within a multidisciplinary team. • Experience and involvement in quality assurance activities and evidence based best practice. • Demonstrated commitment to teaching and supervision • Familiarity with research concepts and commitment to support basic, applied or clinical research. • Demonstrated participation in the supervision of junior medical staff.
